I don't have the cult books yet, but the idea to have a detailled worship of all the Praxian cults according to the Nomad Gods just pleases me. As to Pamaltela, you are right, it's high time to write a dedicated background book. The best reference I ever read on this (appart from Missing lands) was the article in TotRM issue 11 by John Hugues. Page in the RQG book: “Most who belong to a cult are lay members, without any authority or position within the cult.” That said, it is ultimately your RuneQuest, your Glorantha. An exceptional character can potentially have the requirements waived through notable service to the god and/or the cult, or through some other exemplary.

RuneQuest is a fantasy role-playing game created by Steve Perrin and others, set in Greg Stafford's mythical world of Glorantha, and first published in by Chaosium. RuneQuest is notable for its system, designed around percentile dice and with an early implementation of skill rules, which became the basis of numerous other games. There have been several editions of the er(s): Steve Perrin, Ray Turney, . The first publishers of Glorantha material. Their Gloranthan materials are: White Bear and Red Moon (, later renamed as Dragon Pass) Nomad Gods () RuneQuest 1 (, later revised as RuneQuest 2) Balastor's Barracks () Apple Lane (Publication) () Snakepipe Hollow () Cults of Prax () Plunder! () Runemasters () Griffin Mountain (Campaign Book) () Cults .

Your character starts off as a lay member and then can progress up their cult’s hierarchy all the way to a Rune-Lord Priest. Cults worship an individual major, medium-powered or minor deity. There’s a lot in the book about different gods, information on temples and an outline of roles and responsibilities within a rune cult%(90).   runequest gods of glorantha pdf download Glorantha. HQ:G's version of Glorantha is a bit different than how Runequest presents it, so while you just have the single role of "devotee" in Heroquest, Runequest says that there's a distriction between the people who lead worship and perform rituals and the people who go out and act out the part of their god on a daily basis.

Welcome to Greg Stafford’s Mythic World of Glorantha. Glorantha is the mythical world that can be found on the Other Side of our consciousness. First discovered by Greg Stafford over forty years ago, Glorantha has been explored in such games as Dragon Pass, RuneQuest, HeroQuest, and King of Dragon Pass.

Glorantha is a cube of earth some miles wide surrounded by the limitless Sramak’s River. The bestiary seemed a touch frugal to me, but perhaps I will warm up to it in time. It mainly seemed small compared to my collection of 4 books which hold hundreds if not thousands of monsters for D&D 5E, but I enjoy creating monsters and beasts and believe I will be able to convert some of my collection into RuneQuest rules.

Nine Dangerous Deities for RuneQuest Role-playing. The bad guys of Glorantha: nine cults of the cruel and unusual, destined to enliven every campaign. Cults include PRIMAL CHAOS, MALLIA, BAGOG, THED, VIVAMORT, THANATAR, THE CRIMSON BAT, KRARSHT, and NYSALOR/GBAJI.
